Open Day of the MaHoLa Manor House in Ladce – 15/08/2026
We invite you to the Open Day of the MaHoLa manor house in Ladce. Here is how the truly packed program full of activities for young and old will look.
The MaHoLa project aims to connect generations, so bring yourselves, children, grandchildren, grandmothers, grandfathers, uncles, aunts even from the third degree... you certainly won't be bored with us!
The Open Day will take place on Saturday 15/08/2026 from 09:00 at the Ladce manor house.
Admission: a symbolic €1 for the restoration of the manor house.
Free parking is available on the grounds of the Vocational Boarding School in Ladce (1 minute walk to the manor house) or at the Ladce Municipal Office (2 minutes walk to the manor house).
We are looking forward to this great event and to cooperation in presenting cultural heritage. And especially to seeing you!

The stilt walker Juraj will entertain your little ones with his art of walking on stilts.🤪 Children just love him!
You will be able to view a variety of works by professional and amateur artists who will be exhibiting their art in the old part of the castle.👌
Are your little ones waiting for the moment when they can finally get all dressed up and have their hair done? Jašidielko – Face Painting will take care of this fun at the Open Day. They will be braiding hair and painting fun designs on faces.🥰
Can history be fun, engaging, and fascinating? Of course it can! And the Renaissance nobles from @federteater will show this to you and your little ones.🥰

Why did Mr. Miroslav decide to collect and repair old motorcycles?:
“Well, we grew up on these mopeds as boys and we still remember it to this day. After years I returned to repairing these machines, I tried many times to save them from being scrapped until gradually a small collection was created and repairs turned into restoration. I didn't even know myself what different types were made in Považská Bystrica, so I researched back then still without the internet, today it is simpler. A person has to enjoy it, it's a hobby and the technical heritage must be preserved for future generations as well.” ❤️
The Vila Vilôčka nursery in Ilava is a registered social services facility for children up to three years of age. In the new part of the manor house is our museum. In the first room, we will guide you through the history of the manor house, in the second, the history of Holoubek and the Local History Museum in PB await you, and in the last one, a beautiful exhibition "Painted into the Heart".🥰

Open Day at MaHola Castle
We invite you to the Open Day at MaHola Castle in Ladce. It will be spectacular!
Even more attractions than last year, a fully open St. Valentine's Café with a terrace, and plenty of food and educational stalls. There will also be many activities for your little ones.
15.08.2026 from 9:00 to 16:00.
The entrance fee is a symbolic 1 € per person to support the renovation of the castle.
