Saint Valentine also dwells in the manor house in Ladce
The village of Ladce in the Považie region hides a unique little church dedicated to St. Valentine! Built in a beautiful Rococo style, it is part of the Motešický manor house. Discover it with us as part of a monument that has been brought back to life after a truly turbulent history. Within the manor grounds, you can already visit a historical museum with several exhibitions, a café, or even stay overnight. Join us for this tour on Saturday at 8:30 AM or Sunday at 6:45 AM on Dvojka (Slovak Television).

We opened our little church to the public
Yesterday, on St. Valentine's Day, we experienced a beautiful event. We opened our little church to the public, and so many of you came.
We were also visited by the children from the St. Philip Neri "Missionary Grain" from Ladce. The community belongs to the Missionary Childhood Association – Pontifical Mission Societies.
We also opened the museum, because with so many people in the church, we simply couldn't keep it closed.
Saturday, February 14 – Memorial of St. Valentine
On Saturday, February 14 – for the memorial of St. Valentine – we invite couples in love and engaged couples preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage for prayer and a blessing at the Church of St. Valentine in Ladce. We will begin at 3:00 PM with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Our beautiful little church will be open to the public from 3:00 PM.
Donate your 2% tax to MaHoLa
This year again, we would like to ask for your 2% tax donation. The funds will be used for the restoration and operation of the manor house, allowing us to bring you even more experiences.
Name: MaHoLa - Občianske združenie

To keep the manor house open daily, manage the museum, provide cleaning, lighting, and high-quality events, we established this civic association. Your 2% will greatly help us fulfill this dream of a regional hub for fun, meetings, education, and art. While grants cover reconstruction, they cannot be used for daily operating costs.
This year, our local café is open, where you can relax after your visit and enjoy something delicious.
