Today is the birthday of our extraordinary founder, Silvia @silviadacolheisar .
As you surely know, without her spirit, determination, and courage, life in the Ladce Manor House would have never flourished into what it is today under her hands and the hands of everyone whom she inspired with her enthusiasm to contribute to this grand work.
We wish her nothing but the very best! May she and this beautiful project continue to thrive.

To Silvia – The Soul of the Ladce Manor House

From sunny Italy, where home yours you have,
with love and courage towards Slovakia you look.
There, where walls of Ladce in silence sought their own voice,
breathed have you into them life, stopped the cruel time.
Charismatic woman, with smile and splendor,
not came you for glory, nor to race with time.
Heart full of empathy, hand ready to create,
decided have you for us the old beauty to awaken.
Not give you this to yourself, but gift this to everyone,
every stone takes life under the touch yours grateful.
In the café of St. Valentine the scent of coffee rises,
where the human joy the old sins strips away.
Paintings on walls, music, laughter and exhibitions,
whoever here enters, with respect immediately stops.
Although the distance sometimes from those walls you separates,
your shadow and your soul at Ladce always watch.
You are the savior, friend and precious jewel,
that in the corners dark the light brings to us.
Today, on the day of your birthday, I raise the glass to the sky,
as your friend send I to you the gratitude yours evident.
May health you serve, may passion you not abandon,
may life in your paths only the good stars let pass.
